How to Use Nurse Appreciation Cards for Nurses, Doctors and Essential Staff

How do I send nurse appreciation cards to a large staff?

The two biggest challenges with sending cards to a large staff are signing the cards and getting them distributed or mailed. With Hallmark’s handwriting fonts, we can help sign your cards with your personal message. Then we can address and mail the cards for you. If you need a nurse’s station, mail drop or box number printed on the envelope with the recipient’s name, just contact us with a special order request.

My organization doesn’t celebrate Nurses Week.  When are other times I can send nurse appreciation cards?

  • Hospital Week – Just a week later than Nurses Week, this is a perfect time to say “thank you” to nurses and all essential staff. Our nurse appreciation cards are ideal for nurses, but certain designs are appropriate for any essential staff, including pharmacists, safety and sanitation workers, doctors, medical technicians and laboratory staff.

  • Thanksgiving – This holiday is made for medical appreciation cards.

  • Valentine’s DayA Valentine’s appreciation card is unexpected, and it is a perfect time to send thank you notes for nurses.

  • Doctors’ Day – Although the headline says, cards for nurses, many of these cards are perfect for expressing appreciation to doctors on Doctor’s Day.

  • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Week – This week is the perfect time to express your gratitude for “their caring heart.

  • First Responders Day – Don’t forget the EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians), paramedics, firefighters and police officers who become part of your work family. Hallmark’s employee appreciation cards are perfect for letting these essential workers know just how much their partnership means to you and your health system.
